ZAPZAT is an independent art & book studio based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. We believe that books themselves have unlimited possibilities and focus on expanding the scalability of books and graphic design itself. We continue to use different materials and media to echo the content of the book and expand the boundaries of the book. As we firmly believe, the nature of things is complicated, and the aspects we face with things are also different.

Publication/Work:
The three books brought by the ZAPZAT in this fair are "STAMEN OR PISTIL ARE SEMI-PERMANENT", "a piece of cloud", and "Human-like". They are an artist's book, a collection of poetry and a toy book. We have always believed that books themselves have no age or audience restrictions. These three books seem to be produced and designed for different groups of people. But in fact, we all try to expand the limitations of the book itself. "STAMEN OR PISTIL ARE SEMI-PERMANENT" is a discussion of Hong Kong history and the artist's questioning of his own identity. "a piece of cloud" expands the boundaries of poetry reading, allowing romantic poetry collections to be scattered in different corners of the city. The "human-like” is more like a childlike toy, allowing the audience to return to their childhood and feel the happiness brought by the book itself.
