Book 1 ETERNAL SUMMER NOTES

Eternal Summer Notes is a multilingual anthology of short stories, poems, essays, and translations inspired by the heat and humidity of Malaysia’s endless summer. Featuring voices from Malaysia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, China, and the USA, the collection explores selfhood through the passage of time and distance, often with a touch of humour and lightness. Born from a 2024 writing residency at Pohutukawa Coffee and co-edited with Shuren Press, the anthology is a celebration of language, place, and the fleeting moments we try, yet often fail, to hold onto. A year in the making, we hope to share it with new readers at KL Art Book Fair 2025.

Book 2 EVERYTHING IN LIFE IS A FIRE

EVERYTHING IN LIFE IS A FIRE is Dano Chow’s first collection of poetry and haiku, a montage in retrospect spanning a decade. At times introspective and playfully philosophical, the book offers insight into the development of a young writer’s sense of self. Fire by fire, Dano illuminates a pathway with words, attempting to mesmerise us by making the most ordinary of things appear divine.

Critical reviews for the book:

Memang tak ada jalan pintas menuju hati pembaca, namun di sana dia masih mahu "make divine the most ordinary things." Menyalakan api demi api. Puisinya bernyala keunguan, lebam kemudaan.
—Karim Mohd Bilik Penyair

‘Because I only learnt Mandarin?’ Barangkali dia sendiri tidak punya jawapan kerana, ‘but the way is shut now/and you’ll never know’.

Publication/Work: REVISIT : PAPAN, PERAK is a series of darkroom and digital prints. This series marks a return — not just to a place, but to a version of myself. Six years ago, I first wandered through the quiet streets of Papan, Perak, camera in hand, guided mostly by curiosity. Now, I return with time, growth, and experience behind me.Revisit is a visual reflection — a looking back and a re-seeing. The layers of history, memory, and presence feel different now, richer somehow. This time, I saw more. Felt more. And I’m thrilled to share what came out of it.THE HYBRID PRINT PACK In an effort to bridge the gap between analog and digital, I’m offering a Print Pack that combines the best of both worlds:One Handcrafted Darkroom Print A one-of-a-kind silver gelatin print, made in the darkroom using traditional film development techniques — raw, tactile, and timeless.Four Digitally Printed Film Photographs Scanned from original negatives, edited only minimally to retain the essence of film, then professionally printed for sharpness and durability.
