PPIPPIPRESS

Short Bio / About Organization:

PPIPPIPRESS is a Singaporean-based small press run by Bryan & Jamie. Their practice are individual but also intertwined creatively; Jamie is a fine art photographer producing books about the romance of everyday life while Bryan is a designer and illustrator creating books about funny and stupid things. Ranging from photography-based mini books to silly illustrated graphic zines, we make all sorts of thoughtfully crafted books that we are excited about.

2. To Bottle An Ocean
Print Specs: Printed on newsprint paper, unbound, 350mm x 250mm (closed), Limited edition of 30 copies.
The book is also currently stocked in BOOKS AND SONS in Tokyo, Japan.
Book Summary: To Bottle An Ocean explores my relationship with water and my disconnection from its sources. The book reflects on water as the foundation of civilization and culture, tracing how, as we distance ourselves from its origins, water loses its depth and meaning. Today, the water I encounter daily feels sterile and impersonal—merely what flows from my tap or flushes down the toilet. This book tells the story of water’s omnipresence yet overlooked significance, while also sharing my journey to reconnect with its origins.

3. PAMHPLET 01:

'There's no such thing as stupid questions.' PAMPHLET is a series of published graphic zines, pretending to be pamphlets exploring questions that might be a bit too stupid to ask. In the first issue, it follows a space journalist and his dream of finding out what the moon would taste like. 40 pages and eeriely offset-printed in delicious Alien Blood Blue. Launched at the Singapore Art Book Fair and available for retail at GOSH Comics (London's favourite comic book store!). Published by PPIPPIPRESS.
