My photographic practice begins in moments of fleeting quiet and solitude. Creating has become a space where I can truly face myself, to look deeply into my fears, pain, fragility, and regret. It always begins like an interrogation, to witness the deepest part of myself. Photography, for me, is an act of seeing—with clarity, with softness. In these moments of presence, through allowing myself to be fragile, I begin to feel more of myself and the world at once. Each image becomes not just a reflection, but a quiet reconciliation.

Publication/Work:
01: Crushed Stone
This is an 80 page A3 size photography & poem book. It is a quiet meditation on emotional transformation—how ruin can make way for peace, and how emptiness can hold unexpected fullness. Through poetry and imagery, it traces a journey through fear, grief, and release, asking: Can destruction and peace be one and the same?
The work moves through moments of collapse and stillness, exploring the space that remains when the self is no longer striving to hold everything together. In that silence, something gentle begins to breathe—unattached, weightless, and free.
02: Ashes of Grey
This is a 72 page A5 photobook, The theme surrounds around the philosophy of grey. Grey is the embodiment of uncertainty and sincerity itself. Unlike other colors, grey has always seem uncertain, it appears lost and fragile, carried by the wind without direction like drifting ashes. Yet within its delicate essence lies subtle tenderness. Everyday we are surrounded by grey. In every minute, everything can disperse like dust with just a simple blow. But maybe that is why trying to love this world makes it all more worthwhile.
Through these 2 photobooks, there also comes with a selection of postcards & posters. For more details on the projects, please refer to the PDF attached. Thank you

Short Bio of Booth Partner: Brenda, also known as sippingtheteh, is a curious soul with a wide range of interests. She roams wherever her feet—and curiosity—take her, often pausing to document whatever catches her eye (sometimes even stopping a little too suddenly by the roadside). When she’s not out meeting people and striking up conversations, she retreats into stillness, quietly observing the world through her camera.
