Because of this background, we like to try different design and printing techniques to better represent our book titles. However, we'd like these beautiful books to be accessible as possible to our readers, so we always try to sell our books as affordable as we can. This way, we also make sure that our collaborators' voice really gets heard by the audience.

01) RM Surya Tak Pernah Tenggelam by Dokumentaria Berselera
The book RM Surya Tak Pernah Tenggelam is a collaboration between Dokumentaria Berselera and Binatang Press. Written by Reno Andam Suri, illustrated by Nugraha Pratama, and complemented with photography by Jeremiah Michael, this book presents the stories behind the dishes and the people of RM Surya—a culinary institution that has witnessed Jakarta’s food history for over six decades.
Through narrative and visually rich content, this book serves as a testament that food is not just about taste—but also about memory and cultural resilience that continues to endure.

The story of Bu Kek Siansu, the legendary martial arts hero created by Indonesia’s master of the genre, Kho Ping Hoo, returns in a refreshed edition. Redesigned by Binatang Press and Joey Fong from The 1984, this edition features illustrations by Yoel Kristiandi and has been re-edited using Indonesian Hokkien-style language.
The Bu Kek Siansu series not only brings back mystical techniques and thrilling adventures from the martial arts world, but also serves as a reminder of timeless values: kindness, justice, humanity, and perseverance in the face of life’s challenges.
