Ajim Juxta is a visual artist based in Kuala Lumpur. He works mainly on abstract paintings and surrealism drawings depicting dystopian world and its inhabitants. He is also a designer and lyricist on the side. He is also a co founder of Titikmerah Collective and Greydea Studio. He is one of the first recipient for Acme Studio- Khazanah Nasional Art Residency in London in 2017. He is actively exhibiting locally and at Art fairs in London, Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, Taipei and China. Between 2009 and 2022 he has participated in more than 200 exhibitions/art related events together with over 15 Solo showcases.

I have been working on series of exhibitions titled Sakral: translated to sacred as a reflection from my point of view as a creative after more than 15 years practice. These exhibitions intended as exercise and also to document past works in my keeping especially those which were not previously exhibited.
Based on Sakral Showcases, at least 3 publications will be produced consisting of (1) a collection of small canvas works/paintings to be paired with my poetry writing, (2) a collection of small drawings on postcard size formats (as Zine or limited boxset of postcard collection and (3) a photo book of art making process and the studio environment that I have compiled over the years with anecdotes and texts by other writers.
Other products would be stickers, enamel pins, toy art prototypes and printed materials from my previous exhibitions.
