BERTILO is a lovely chubby character from Italy who adores pizza, always topless, and considers relaxation to be the top priority in life. BERTILO is co-created by Chinese illustrator Jingo Li and Italian artist Bertil Butturini. Since 2020, we have produced a series of independent comics and art books featuring this character, we also had chances to have exhibitions, fairs, events in both Europe and China.
We hope to incorporate BERTILO's life philosophy – "be fat, be cool, be chill" – into our work, encouraging everyone to fully embrace themselves and embrace every moment of life.

01_Artbook: “Spring at Gianicolo”, published in 2024, A4 size, it is an art book about our favourite hill in Rome.
02_Artbook: “The Little Mermaid”, published in 2023, 13.5 x 17cm, The inspiration for this "False Fairy Tale Book" comes from "The Little Mermaid." We have adapted the main characters to create a sense of familiarity for readers at the beginning of the story, making them think, “Oh! I know this story.” However, as they read on, they gradually realize that something is off. We really enjoy seeing the expressions of readers change from confusion to laughter as they read this book.
03_Zine: “Mini Childhood”, published in 2023, 12 x 12cm, three zines created based on the childhood memories of Bertil and Jingo, two individuals born in the 1980s. Despite their vastly different cultural backgrounds, they share both distinct and similar childhood experiences.
