Viko Zhijune is a creator who moves fluidly between painting, photography, writing, and other forms of visual expression. With a fragmented approach to making, they developed a self-published zine series called Fragile Words Zine, is a collection of zines composed in a fragmented, collage-like way. It centers on self-observation. Because Viko enjoys working across various visual forms, the zine includes bits and pieces of photography, painting, drawings, and text. On their own, each part may seem incomplete—but together, they form a whole.

Fragile Words Zine 2.0 —蜷 Curling
The theme of this issue, Curling, explores a certain human state—one of retreat and inward folding.
Through the language of dreams, love, and plant forms, it reflects the desire to hide away when overwhelmed; a state of drifting, unreachable, rootless.
In such a space, all the unspoken and unformed words take shape as strange plants—growing, quietly, into something wild and alive.
Fragile Words Zine 3.0:生活就是一大佈景 Life is one big set
— soft, shifting, strangely familiar.
Fragile Words Zine 3.0 frames daily life as a constructed backdrop, where presence, performance, and perception blur.
This issue experiments with photography as both document and dialogue — capturing not just what is seen, but how it is seen.
Through on-site, interactive photo sessions and staged compositions, the zine invites viewers to become part of the scenery:
to step into the frame, to disturb it, to reflect within it.
What happens when the camera is no longer just a witness, but an invitation?
What if every accidental pose, every passing shadow, is part of a script we didn't write?
